I arrived at Charles des Gaule at 8:15 am ... and remained in the terminal for another EIGHT hours. So I had plenty of time to contemplate my surroundings...

When I finally met up with Eron in Amsterdam, he told me that U2 had just shot the video for their latest single ("Beautiful Day") at Charles des Gaule the month previous. As it turned out, they shot the album cover there as well. Here're a few photos (borrowed from U2.com) for comparison.
