Visiting The Set - Trip Log
This is an account of trip to Death Valley. We had already traveled from Maryland to Anaheim where we were staying, though we did spend one night at the Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley. It's beautiful there and we would reccomend it to anyone, even if you aren't looking for the Star Wars locations.

  • 01:15 PM - Arrive at Desolation Canyon - 97o
  • 01:45 PM - Hike deep into canyon, lost - 96o
  • 02:05 PM - Hike out of canyon - 98o
  • 02:30 PM - Leave Desolation Canyon empty handed - 101o
  • 02:45 PM - Snack at Furnace Creek - 100o
  • 03:35 PM - Talk to Ranger's Again, View BTS Slides - 100o
  • 04:00 PM - Return to Desolation Canyon - 101o
  • 05:15 PM - Leave Desolation Canyon after (finally) finding all locations - 99o
  • 05:30 PM - Arrive at Detour which we believed was Artist's Palette (wrong) - 99o
  • 06:00 PM - Arrive at real Artist's Palette - 96o
  • 06:15 PM - Leave Artist's Palette - 96o
  • 06:30 PM - Arrive at Twenty Mule Team Canyon - 94o
  • 06:50 PM - Leave Twenty Mule Team Canyon - 92o
