I had never heard of them filming at Lake Atitlan until now. It would be nice if IMDB included a reference of where they got that information. As far as I know, the only lake they used was Villa Balbianello on Lake Como, so my first reaction is to think that this must be wrong.

Unless there was some deleted scene we never saw, all the lake / picnic scenes were from Lake Como (Tremezzo, Griante and Villa Balbianello).
