March 2009 will be the 30th anniversary of filming in Finse.

According to the Alan Arnold book "Once Upon A Galaxy" the crew arrived in Finse on March 3rd 1979. After filming the scenes around the hotel the first unit returned to Elstree, London on March 12th, leaving Mark Hamill behind to finish his one scene on the glacier. On April 3rd the second unit return to London after filming the glacier battle scenes during the few days of good weather that had emerged since the first unit departed.

Does anyone else intend to be there ?

I hope to be there. I've already been in contact with the hotel about a reservation and checked all the flight times and how they match up with train departure times. Just need to buy the tickets, probably in the next few weeks.
