Another year, another trip. This time in the beginning of May we made a trip to the more colder place then Tunisia. We went for four days to Norway, one of them spending in Finse - place, where Hoth scenes were filmed.

Thanks for sharing but why spend 5 days and goodness knows how much money just to spend 6 hours in Finse. Surely it could have been planned better and cheaper so as to give you enough to stay at the hotel for 1 night?
6 hours in Finse is just enough time to walk from the train station out to the glacier (Hoth battlefield) and back again. You wouldn't have time to see any of the other places like where the probot lands and flies off, or where Luke watches the Falcon fly away.
You say you were spending 200+ per day to stay in Oslo for 5 days, that's almost enough to have bought you 2 nights at the Finse1222.
Train tickets can be bought in advance on www.nsb.no with big savings, if you know the date and time of travelling.
I'm sure you had a great time in Finse but it just seems such a short time.

That said, there is plenty to see and do in Oslo and Bergen which is free or inexpensive.

I hope any more fans from Poland will ask here for tips and advice about Finse and Norway, or maybe ask the Norwegian Garrison 501st.

Just to let people know, you have never been able to just turn up in Finse and hire a skidoo even before 2007. All the people who went on skidoos arranged it before they went or it took some hours or days to arrange once they were in Finse. Generally skidoos can only go to the glacier if they are taking supplies to the mountain huts or doing Red Cross training which is why you have to time it right.
